The animals found on the property were related to the species known to be used for fighting purposes, as well as the injuries found on the animals, the structure, facilities and general findings about the property and the animals, associated with the medications indicated for injuries consistent with those resulting from fights conclude that the birds were used for cockfighting. In addition, the opinion for the set of comfort and well-being indicators were considered inadequate. Therefore, according to the legislation on environmental crimes, this case was considered a case of mistreatment.
