Abstract
We would like to begin this editorial by informing that the Brazilian Journal of Criminalistics (RBC) was evaluated as B3 stratum by the QUALIS (NEW) system of CAPES. The editorial team greatly appreciates the contribution of the authors, reviewers, and section editors, whose joint efforts made it possible to achieve this new accomplishment. Furthermore, the RBC reached an h-index of 9 in Google Scholar, totaling 347 citations (Single Figure). In 2020 alone, articles published in the RBC obtained nearly 80 citations, demonstrating the dissemination of forensic knowledge, a sine qua non condition of editorial activity.
